Your New Era Electric Bike / Electric Scooter Warranty

Congratulations on your purchase of your New Era electric bike/electric scooter! We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products, and we are committed to providing you with a hassle-free ownership experience.

Warranty Coverage:

New Era (“we,” “our,” or “us”) warrants our electric bikes/electric scooters against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. The warranty coverage is limited to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable.

What is Covered:

During the one-year warranty period, we will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace any part or component that is found to be defective due to manufacturing issues. This includes defects in the frame, motor, battery, controller, display, and other electrical components that affect the normal operation of the electric bike/electric scooter.

What is Not Covered:

This warranty does not cover damages or malfunctions resulting from:

  1. Normal wear and tear, including tire wear, brake pads, or grips.
  2. Misuse, abuse, or neglect of the product.
  3. Accident, collision, or any form of intentional or unintentional physical damage.
  4. Modification, alteration, or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.
  5. Exposure to extreme environmental conditions, including water damage.
  6. Failure to follow the product’s user manual or maintenance guidelines.

Warranty Claim Procedure:

In the event of a manufacturing issue covered by this warranty, please follow these steps to initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Contact our customer support team via email at support@newera.ie or by the contact form below. Provide your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and any relevant images or videos to support your claim.
  2. Our customer support team will assess your claim and provide instructions on how to proceed with the warranty process.
  3. If required, you may need to return the defective product to our designated facility for inspection and evaluation.

Resolution:

Once we verify that the issue is covered under warranty, we will either repair or replace the defective part, component, or product, free of charge. The repaired or replacement product will be sent to you at our expense. Please note that the warranty period for any replaced parts or products does not extend beyond the original one-year warranty duration, unless otherwise stated.

Limitation of Liability:

Our liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective parts or products. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or other economic losses arising from the use or inability to use the product.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

This warranty and any disputes arising from it are subject to the laws of The Republic of Ireland, and any legal actions related to this warranty shall be brought exclusively in the courts of The Republic of Ireland.

    Our Scooters are ready out of the box. Our electric bikes may require minor assembly. However, this is so easy, even a monkey could do it!

    Yes, we provide a FREE returns for faulty/broken products. Secondly, We also cover any  damages/faults (non user inflicted) for 1 year after your purchase!

    You will receive an automated email on the 1 year anniversary of your order with a map of service partners in your locale, along with a portal to book an appointment. You simply show up, and we take care of the rest.
